Zoom!® Teeth Whitening

Zoom!® teeth whitening is an advanced single-visit whitening system.  In just one visit to our office in The Woodlands, the Zoom!® teeth whitening system can whiten your teeth up to ten shades, making it a highly effective smile makeover option.  The Zoom!® system utilizes a gentle yet powerful whitening gel, activated by a special light, to remove deep-set stains from the enamel.  The entire process takes about an hour, so you can schedule a whitening appointment on your lunch break and return to work with a brilliant new smile.  We have also found that many patients choose Zoom!® teeth whitening to compliment Invisalign® and other cosmetic treatments. 

The Zoom!® Teeth Whitening Process

The dentist begins the teeth whitening process by covering the gums with a protective rubber mouth guard.  He then applies the Zoom!® whitening gel to teeth.  Next, he activates the gel with a special light, which breaks down hydrogen in the gel to remove stains.  He may repeat this process up to about three times until the desired whitening effect is reached.  In-office whitening has the added benefit of allowing the dentist to control the degree of bleaching, so that patients can have a subtle makeover if desired.  When the teeth have been sufficiently bleached, you can leave our office with your beautiful white smile.

At-Home Teeth Whitening

We also offer at-home teeth whitening, a cost-saving alternative to Zoom!® teeth whitening.  At-home whitening utilizes clear plastic trays to hold the bleaching gel against the teeth.  The trays are crafted to fit snugly and comfortably.  If you choose this option, you will simply visit our office near Houston to pick up your teeth whitening trays.  Then, you will simply fill the trays with whitening gel and wear the trays overnight every night.  The gel, which is less potent than Zoom!® whitening gel, gradually removes stains from the enamel.  When worn as directed, at-home teeth whitening can provide beautiful results in as little as two weeks.
